SCHOLARSHIP AWARD:
Dear New England Medal Qualifier:
The New England Equitation committee is pleased to announce that the annual scholarship awards will be presented at the NEEC Finals at the Eastern States Exposition Center on the weekend of October 16-19, 2008.
The scholarships have been made possible by the contributions and support of members, parents, patrons and friends of the NEEC to encourage junior and adult riders to seriously pursue education beyond the high school level.
Candidates for the awards must have qualified for the 2008 New England Horsemen's Council Junior Medal Finals or the Amateur Adult Medal Finals, and must have been accepted to and enrolled in college or another continuing education program for the school year beginning September 2008 or January 2009. There will be no exceptions to the rules for qualification.
The deadline for receipt of applications is Saturday, September 27, 2008. A panel of three will designate the recipients of the awards which are to be used solely for your educational expenses. To obtain an application form, which is to be completed and returned to me, please call or write:
